Stone Ridge Trust II - Reinsurance Risk Prem Interval Fund (SRRIX) is a closed-end interval fund that seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in reinsurance-related securities to capture the reinsurance risk premium. The Fund, a series of Stone Ridge Trust II, a Delaware statutory trust organized in 2013, is managed by Stone Ridge Asset Management LLC and headquartered at One Vanderbilt Avenue, 65th Floor, New York, NY. Its core investments include at least 80% of assets in quota shares, which are risk-sharing trades primarily with reinsurers; event-linked bonds; shares or notes issued in connection with industry loss warranties and event-linked swaps; and, to a lesser extent, equity securities and derivatives of companies in the reinsurance and insurance industry; with supplemental exposure to longevity and mortality bonds, debt securities, floating rate obligations, and derivatives such as options, futures, and swaps. The Fund's strategy targets property catastrophe risks and other perils globally, providing diversification uncorrelated to traditional equities and bonds through an interval structure offering periodic repurchase liquidity. As of late 2025, the Fund has grown to approximately $1.3 billion in assets under management, reflecting steady inflows and portfolio refreshment with new allocations to quota shares and private reinsurance sidecars as of July 31, 2025. This marks its largest size since April 2022, amid broader Stone Ridge mutual ILS funds surpassing $5.8 billion in combined AUM, the highest in over six years, driven by catastrophe bond demand and reinsurance market opportunities. No major acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or structural changes for the Fund have been reported in the last 1-2 years.
