Business
Changzhou Shichuang Energy Co., Ltd. is a China-based technology enterprise engaged in the research, development, manufacture, and distribution of auxiliary materials, specialized equipment, and high-efficiency cell and module products for the photovoltaic industry. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, the company operates across multiple stages of the solar manufacturing value chain, serving domestic and international clean energy markets. The company provides a comprehensive product and service portfolio organized into key business segments: photovoltaic wet-process auxiliary materials, including texturing additives, chemical polishing agents, cleaning aids, and etching auxiliaries engineered to optimize wafer surface treatment; specialized photovoltaic manufacturing equipment, including bulk defect passivation systems, chain-type annealing furnaces, interface passivation tools, chain gettering devices, and silicon wafer edge-slice processing machinery; and solar cells and modules, comprising high-efficiency n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact cells, half-cell solar modules, and proprietary stacked-grid photovoltaic modules. In recent strategic developments, Changzhou Shichuang Energy completed its initial public offering on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in June 2023. To accelerate international market penetration and reinforce downstream integration, the company completed a strategic equity investment in solar module manufacturer Ningbo Ulica Solar Co., Ltd. in 2024, integrating established global distribution networks. Additionally, the company has advanced the industrialization of its proprietary stacked-grid metallization technology, which utilizes ultra-fine reflective triangular conductive wire on low-silver seed layers to significantly reduce silver paste consumption and increase module power output, while expanding commercial deployments of its gettering and passivation equipment across advanced n-type solar cell production lines.
