Business
Suzhou Convert Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a China-based semiconductor design company engaged in the research, development, design, and sale of intelligent power semiconductor devices and analog power integrated circuits (ICs). Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, China, the company operates under a dual-track strategy combining discrete power devices and integrated power management solutions. Its product portfolio comprises power semiconductor devices, including planar metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), fast-recovery high-voltage MOSFETs (FRMOS), medium- and low-voltage trench MOSFETs, shielded-gate trench (SGT) MOSFETs, super-junction MOSFETs, third-generation silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs, SiC Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs), and insulated-gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs); power integrated circuits, including pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller ICs, high-voltage half-bridge gate driver ICs, motor drive ICs, and linear and switching power management chips; and system modules and specialized components, including intelligent power modules (IPMs), operational amplifiers, power distribution switches, and galvanic isolation devices. Suzhou Convert Semiconductor targets a broad range of end-market applications, including industrial automation, motor control systems, server and telecommunications power supplies, smart home appliances, consumer electronics, renewable energy equipment, and high-reliability specialized electronics. The company operates research, development, and regional sales facilities in Xi'an, Wuxi, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. In recent major developments, the company, which listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market under ticker 688693, announced a definitive agreement to acquire a 100 percent equity interest in Chengdu-based Jingyi Semiconductor Co., Ltd. for approximately RMB 1.65 billion via share issuance and cash consideration, strategically expanding its motor drive and consumer power IC product lines to complement its high-reliability power device portfolio while scaling its automotive and industrial silicon carbide offerings.
