- Stamper Oil & Gas Corp. is a Canada-based, exploration-stage oil and gas company focused on acquiring, holding, evaluating and advancing interests in prospective offshore petroleum exploration assets in Namibia. The Company’s principal business consists of oil and gas exploration and development activities, including the assessment of geological and geophysical data, advancement of seismic and drilling work programs with licence partners and operators, evaluation of farm-down and joint-venture opportunities, and potential development or disposition of commercially viable petroleum interests. Stamper operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, BISP Exploration Inc., and related interests, with its principal asset base comprising five offshore Namibian blocks covered by four Petroleum Exploration Licences across the Orange, Walvis and Lüderitz basins. The Company was incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, on September 18, 1984, and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Stamper’s Namibian portfolio includes a 32.9% working interest in PEL 107, covering Block 2712A in the Orange Basin; a 5% carried interest in PEL 106, covering Blocks 2011B and 2111A in the Walvis Basin; a 20% carried interest in PEL 102, covering Block 2614B in the Lüderitz Basin; and a 5% carried interest in PEL 98, covering Block 2213 in the Walvis Basin. Through its ownership structure, the Company holds 100% of Rock Oil and Gas Pty and an indirect interest in WestOil Limited, which holds a 70% working interest in PEL 107. Its exploration activities are directed toward high-impact offshore oil and gas prospects in Namibia’s major sedimentary basins, including prospects near regional exploration and appraisal activity by international industry participants. Stamper does not report producing oil and gas operations and expects any future revenue to derive from the sale, development or commercialization of oil and gas resources or related interests.
In September 2025, Stamper completed the acquisition of all outstanding shares of BISP Exploration Inc. in a transaction accounted for as a reverse takeover, resulting in BISP becoming the accounting parent and a wholly owned legal subsidiary of Stamper. The acquisition materially repositioned the Company as a Namibia-focused offshore exploration company and provided it with indirect interests in the five Namibian blocks. Concurrently, BISP completed a brokered private placement of 57,609,993 subscription receipts at C$0.20 per receipt for gross proceeds of approximately C$11.5 million, with proceeds principally allocated to the acquisition cash consideration, exploration activities, working capital and general corporate purposes. Following the transaction, Grayson M. Andersen was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
During 2026, Stamper continued to advance its offshore Namibia strategy. The Company reported an extension of PEL 102 in the Lüderitz Basin and continued to assess exploration and drilling opportunities with licence operators and partners. It also announced plans to pursue an OTCQB listing in the United States to broaden investor-market access, changed its fiscal year-end to December 31 from June 30, appointed Kevin Ma as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary effective January 2026, and issued stock options and restricted share units to directors, officers, employees and consultants. In July 2026, the Company announced a C$150,000 promissory note issuance and an update concerning the expiry date of previously issued restricted share units. Stamper’s common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol STMP, on the U.S. OTC market under STMGF and in Germany under TMP0.
