Business
STS Group AG, a leading global supplier of lightweight plastic and composite components for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries, develops, manufactures and supplies interior and exterior trim parts, vehicle cabin components, acoustic and thermal insulation solutions, storage modules including under-bunk storage and upper shelves, cab side modules, tailgates, rear lamp modules, roof spoilers, battery system covers for electric vehicles, bumpers, front panels, deflectors, roofs, mudguards and entrances; the company also produces sheet molding compounds (SMC), fiber molding compounds and advanced fiber molding compounds, alongside prototyping and logistics services. Headquartered in Hagen, Germany, and founded in 2013, STS Group AG operates 12 production plants and three development centers across key markets in Europe (primarily Germany and France), China (including a third site in Shiyan launched in 2019), Mexico, the United States and other regions in the Americas, serving major automobile and commercial vehicle producers with a focus on weight reduction, emission standards compliance, autonomous driving and electric mobility trends. A subsidiary of Adler Pelzer Holding GmbH since Mutares SE & Co. KGaA sold its 73.25% stake in early 2024, the company pursues strategic growth through pillars including expansion in China and the USA (with North American headquarters established), add-on acquisitions, new product development and cost optimization in Europe; recent financial reports confirm results in line with expectations for the first half of 2025 and met annual forecasts for 2024 amid challenging market conditions.
