Business
cyan AG is a Germany-based provider of intelligent cybersecurity solutions primarily to telecommunications operators, financial institutions, fintech companies, and small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company offers OnNet Security, a network-integrated solution including OnNet Core for protecting operator networks against phishing, malware, and unwanted traffic, and OnNet Plus for enhanced customer protection; OnDevice Security, an endpoint-based solution shielding devices from cyber threats such as fraud and malware; child protection solutions for safe internet experiences; Clean Pipe DNS solutions to filter malicious content at the network level; and cyan Guard 360, a comprehensive mobile security offering, alongside SMB-specific AI-powered cybersecurity tools. cyan operates through its subsidiaries with a global footprint spanning Europe including Germany, Austria, Romania, Belgium, and the Netherlands; Latin America encompassing Mexico and partnerships with Claro; the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions including Thailand; serving mobile network operators (MNOs), mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), fixed-line internet providers, banks, and insurers under white-label arrangements. Founded in 2006 as cyan Networks Software GmbH and listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2018, cyan AG is headquartered at Josephspitalstrasse 15 in Munich, Germany. In a major strategic shift, the company sold its BSS/OSS segment including I-New Unified Mobile Solutions GmbH in 2024 to focus exclusively on high-growth cybersecurity; it extended its global group contract with Orange across 26 countries, partnered with Orange Romania and Orange Belgium for cybersecurity enhancements, collaborated with Odido on cyan Guard 360 rollout in the Netherlands, entered the Latin American market via Claro and expanded into Mexico through a new MVNO partnership, launched a dedicated SMB product in March 2025, achieved 86% subscriber growth in 2024 and positive EBITDA in H1 2025, and announced a CEO transition following successful realignment.
