Business
Silvercorp Metals Inc. is a Canadian mining company that acquires, explores, develops and produces silver, gold, lead and zinc from mineral properties primarily in China. The company operates underground mines including the Ying Mining District mines (SGX, HZG, HPG, TLP, LME, LMW and DCG) in Henan Province; the GC silver-lead-zinc mine in Guangdong Province; and the BYP mine in Hunan Province, with processing plants supporting 2,500 tonnes per day capacity; it produces and sells silver concentrate, lead concentrate and zinc concentrate to local smelters and refiners under contract agreements. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and founded with an 18-year operating track record, Silvercorp focuses on low-cost production for the green energy sector, including solar applications, while maintaining exploration and development projects in China and Ecuador targeting customer segments such as smelters and base metals traders. In recent developments, Silvercorp completed its all-share acquisition of Adventus Mining Corporation in fiscal 2025, adding the high-grade El Domo copper-gold project and Condor project in Ecuador to its pipeline with construction budgeted at $240.5 million and production targeted by late 2026; the company also increased its stake in New Pacific Metals to approximately 28% through a C$9.86 million participation in a bought deal financing in October 2025, alongside reporting record fiscal 2025 Q4 revenue growth of 76% and renewing its share repurchase program in September 2025.
