Formerly known as Jiangsu Jianghuai Engine Co., Ltd., the company changed its name to Jiangsu Nonghua Intelligent Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. in June 2015 to reflect its strategic shift toward intelligent agriculture; in March 2025, Chongqing Doyen Holdings Co., Ltd. cancelled the planned acquisition of a 51% stake in Shanghai Henong Network Technology Co., Ltd. from the company. Jiangsu Nonghua ranks among China's top enterprises in light engines and agricultural machinery, with the "JD" and "Jiangdong" brands recognized as famous trademarks in Jiangsu Province and nationally acclaimed for quality.
