Business
Visionox Technology Inc. specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display products, including active-matrix OLED (AMOLED) displays and flexible AMOLED displays. Its main product portfolio covers rigid and flexible OLED panels used in smartphones, wearable devices, automotive displays, laptops, and extended reality (XR) applications. The company operates multiple production lines, including Gen-5.5 rigid and Gen-6 flexible AMOLED lines located in Kunshan, Hefei, Hebei, and Guangzhou, China. Visionox also produces advanced AMOLED technology with its proprietary ViP maskless OLED production process, enabling higher brightness, longevity, and performance in applications such as smart cockpits, 4K automotive displays, and touch panel interfaces. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China, Visionox has spun off its OLED lighting business into Yeolight Technology and its microLED business into Vistar. Recent significant company developments include the launch of an 8.6-Gen AMOLED production line in Hefei with a $7.6 billion investment targeting IT applications, the mass production of the world's first 14.2-inch automotive sliding rollable AMOLED screen for high-end sedans, and the development of the world’s first AMOLED display driver chip integrating embedded RRAM storage technology in collaboration with Shengxian Microelectronics and Ruikewei Electronics. Visionox has also established a major strategic partnership with Hefei State-Owned Assets, raising 2.9 billion RMB through private placement and enabling the Shushan District People's Government of Hefei City to become the company's actual controller, supporting working capital improvement and debt repayment. Furthermore, the company is investing approximately $775 million to build a global new display industry innovation center in Kunshan focused on flexible AMOLED technologies, new materials, extended reality, X-ray applications, and semiconductor technology incubation. Visionox pursues market expansion with products targeted at smartphones, automotive, consumer electronics, and healthcare industries, consistently investing around 15% of its revenue in R&D to maintain technological leadership and deliver over 100 unique OLED display models with high quality and customer satisfaction levels.
