Business
Saudi Industrial Export Company (Sadirat), also known as SIEC (4140.SR), engages in marketing, exporting, re-exporting, importing, and trading national industrial products and commodities within Saudi Arabia and internationally, with a focus on supply chain management, trading finance, logistics, and IT solutions for trade in the Middle East and African regions. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the company operates through regional offices in the United Arab Emirates and Iraq; it provides comprehensive services including payment alternatives and financing solutions, commodity exchange and warehouse management, commercial insurance, freight forwarding, transportation, drayage, negotiated trucking/air/containership rates, value-added kitting/packaging/processing, collateral management, chartering/bulk logistics, and SaaS e-commerce platforms for B2B storefronts, product cataloging, vendor profiles, routing compliance, control tower visibility, and multi-currency transactions. Its core products encompass fertilizers such as sulfur, DAP, urea, TSP, and GTSP; chemicals and petrochemicals; polymers and primary plastics materials; industrial materials including silica sand, steel billets, bauxite, and rubber/synthetic fibers; commodities like cement, clinker, steel, wheat, rice, soybeans, and corn; as well as lubricating oils, petroleum products, plasters, and other bulk commodities. Recent developments include multiple board resignations in November 2025, such as Chairman Mohammed Saleh Al-Ghamdi, Audit Committee member Saleh Ghadeer Al-Rshead, Independent Board Member Bader Hasan Al Othman, and Managing Director Ghassan Abdulrahman Al Haidari, citing personal reasons, work commitments, and misalignments in board vision with shareholder aspirations; retraction of a legal claim against former board members; approval of a non-binding SAR 200 million offer from FAAD Partners in February 2025 for 40% of Jubail Chemical Industries Co. (JANA), a subsidiary linked via Haddaj Investment Co.; and a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Entaj Industrial Services.
