Core products and services encompass over 30 prominent titles including Asharq Al-Awsat and its multilingual editions (English, Turkish, Persian, Urdu), Arab News and its international variants (Pakistan, Japan, En Francais), Asharq News, Asharq Business with Bloomberg, Independent Arabia and its Turkish, Persian, and Urdu editions, Al Eqtisadiah, Arriyadhiah (sports), Sayidaty, Hia, Al Majalla, Arrajol, Aljamila, Robb Report Arabia, Billboard Arabia, Manga Arabia, Sport 24, Argaam, Akhbaar24, and Malayalam; alongside visual content via Asharq Documentary channel, podcast platform Thmanyah (51% stake), and digital properties like LIST Magazine and Thamaniya. The group operates through segments including publishing, visual and digital content, advertising and media solutions, and events, targeting audiences in news, economy, sports, lifestyle, entertainment, and finance primarily in the MENA region and globally, with a monthly reach exceeding 172 million across seven languages in 11 countries spanning four continents. Founded in 1972 as Saudi Research and Publishing Company and restructured as a joint-stock entity in 2000, SRMG is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Al Sharq Al Awsat Building on Makkah Road, and listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) under ticker 4210 since 2006. It maintains approximately 40 subsidiaries, nearly all fully owned, focused on media, advertising, publishing, printing, packaging, plastics, intellectual property management, and licensed projects, with international offices in locations including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Morocco, and Pakistan. In recent developments, SRMG announced a strategic partnership with Saudia in February 2025 to supply premium Arabic content, including Asharq News Network and Asharq Discovery (with Warner Bros. Discovery), to the airline's BEYOND in-flight entertainment system. In April 2025, SRMG partnered with Naif Alrajhi Investment, integrating Veyron Marketing's capabilities with SRMG Media Solutions for advanced digital advertising and media planning across MENA. Additional 2025 milestones include a memorandum of understanding with Diriyah Company in August for enhanced media collaboration on cultural content, a SAR 240 million marketing services contract awarded to subsidiary Taoq in July, and shareholder approval of related-party deals in June. The company rebranded from Saudi Research and Marketing Group to its current name in May 2021, launched a new business model with five divisions (media, international, events, research/polling, innovation), acquired stakes in Argaam (2017), Thmanyah and Raff Publishing (2021), and expanded digital offerings like Manga Arabia.
