Business
TextMagic AS is a provider of cloud-based business-to-business (B2B) text messaging and customer communication software solutions. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, the company is publicly traded on the Nasdaq First North Baltic exchange under the ticker symbol MAGIC. TextMagic AS operates primarily in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and telecommunications software industries, serving small and medium-sized enterprises across key international markets, predominantly the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The company delivers a suite of digital communication tools and services, which includes bulk SMS and MMS broadcasting for promotional campaigns, notifications, and emergency alerts; two-way conversational text messaging supported by dedicated virtual phone numbers and shared team inboxes; automated communication workflows, appointment reminders, and trigger-based notifications; email-to-SMS gateway connectivity; two-factor authentication (2FA) and one-time password (OTP) verification services; artificial intelligence-powered email and content generation tools; contact list management with segmentation, opt-out tracking, and carrier compliance controls; and REST application programming interfaces (APIs) for enterprise software integration alongside web, desktop, and mobile applications for iOS and Android. In recent corporate developments, TextMagic AS implemented a strategic pivot by terminating the development of its multi-channel customer engagement platform, Touchpoint, to refocus capital and engineering resources on enhancing its core messaging ecosystem and AI capabilities. In addition, following its acquisition and subsequent portfolio review of website management platform Voog (Edicy OÜ), the company executed operational streamlining measures, including the closure of its Romanian subsidiary to consolidate marketing, development, and administrative operations at its Estonian headquarters, while sustaining regular shareholder capital distributions.
