Kafrit Industries (1993) Ltd manufactures and markets customized masterbatches, compounds and additives for the global plastics industry. The company produces masterbatches and compounds for agricultural films including greenhouse, mulch and tunnel applications; polycarbonate and PMMA sheets with light management, UV/IR stabilization and flame resistance solutions; antioxidants; BOPE and BOPP films; injection molding and extrusion-blow molding; fibers and nonwovens; pipes and sheets; polyethylene films such as bubble, electronic packaging, foamed, food packaging and industrial variants; peel compounds under the CONSTAB brand; and Ecocell foaming additives. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, Sha'ar HaNegev, Israel, the company operates through segments in Israel, Europe, Asia and America, with facilities in China, Germany and Canada as part of the Kafrit Group of ten synergistic entities. Kafrit Industries recently acquired Canadian compounder ABSA Resin Technologies, adding filled, reinforced and sustainable thermoplastic compounds for automotive, construction and electronics; Badger Color Concentrates Inc. in the United States, expanding color concentrates and liquid colorants for North America; and a majority stake in Israeli startup Nemo Nanomaterials for carbon nanotube dispersion in conductive and EMI-shielding applications. The company also partnered with Kenaf Venture on bio-based kenaf fiber compounds for PP and ABS in consumer goods, agriculture and automotive sectors; resumed full operations at its Israeli plant in late 2023 following regional disruptions; and advanced ESG initiatives including employee training targets through 2025.
