Tobu Railway Co., Ltd. operates Japan's largest private railway network in the Kanto region, spanning 463.3 kilometers across Tokyo and the prefectures of Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi, and Chiba, serving commuters, students, business travelers, and tourists with lines including the Skytree Line, Isesaki Line, Urban Park Line, Tojo Line, Nikko Line, Kinugawa Line, and others; the company, founded in 1897 and headquartered in Sumida-ku, Tokyo (ticker: TBURF), also provides bus and taxi services, freight transportation, limited express trains such as SPACIA X (launched July 2023 with expanded operations from March 2024), and new 80000 and 90000 series rolling stock for enhanced comfort and efficiency. The Tobu Group encompasses leisure operations featuring Tokyo Skytree, hotels like Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Ginza and Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo, theme parks including Tobu World Square, amusement parks, and travel services; real estate activities involve leasing properties, developing condominiums and housing, and managing SKYTREE TOWN; retail distribution includes department stores in Ikebukuro, Funabashi, and Utsunomiya, supermarkets, and shopping centers; other segments cover health clubs, golf courses, engineering, and construction.
