Business
Technology & Telecommunication Acquisition Corporation Technology & Telecommunication Acquisition Corporation (TETE) operates as a blank check company, or special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), whose primary purpose is to effect a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities, with a focus on the technology and telecommunications sectors, particularly in Asia and Malaysia; it does not engage in significant ongoing operations prior to completing such a transaction. Incorporated in 2021 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the company is a subsidiary of Technology & Telecommunication LLC and targets businesses with enterprise values between $100 million and $500 million that are preferably cash generative. In October 2022, it entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Super Apps Holdings, a Kuala Lumpur-based fintech payments technology firm, at an implied valuation of $1.1 billion for the combined entity, which is expected to be renamed TETE Technologies Inc. and list on Nasdaq under the ticker TETE, with Super Apps acquiring a 60% stake in OneShop Retail from MobilityOne prior to closing to form an integrated e-commerce and card payment platform serving the ASEAN market; the transaction, originally anticipated in the first half of 2023, remains pending shareholder approval following multiple deadline extensions, most recently to February 20, 2026, after shareholder-approved charter amendments in August 2025 extended the period to 49 months post its January 2022 initial public offering of $100 million.
