- TGX Energy & Resources Inc. is a Canadian critical-metals exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of mineral properties, principally rare earth element and niobium prospects in Canada. The Company’s flagship asset is the True Blue REE Property, comprising 303 mineral claims in the Pelly Mountains Volcanic Belt within the Watson Lake Mining District of southern Yukon, approximately 55 kilometres south of Ross River. True Blue covers a prospective Mississippian syenite intrusion and associated carbonatite system and targets rare earth elements and niobium, including potential magnet rare earths such as neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium, as well as light rare earths including lanthanum and cerium. The Company’s exploration focus addresses potential applications for these materials in permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind-turbine generators and defence systems; high-strength low-alloy, aerospace and pipeline-grade steel; catalysts; specialty glass; alloys; and energy-storage applications. TGX is an exploration-stage issuer and does not generate operating revenue or report defined mineral resources or mineral reserves. Incorporated in 2001, the Company is headquartered at Suite 1000, 409 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol TGX. Formerly known as True North Gems Inc., the Company changed its name to TGX Energy & Resources Inc. in August 2024 as part of its transition from a legacy gemstone-focused business to a critical-metals exploration strategy. Recent corporate developments include the appointment of Sebastian Lowes as Chief Executive Officer and director in May 2026, succeeding M. Bilal Bhamji, who remains a director; the Company’s stated strategy to expand from its Yukon rare earth and niobium asset into a broader portfolio of critical-metals projects; an April 2026 private placement; and a May 2026 shares-for-debt settlement.
