Business
T-Mobile US, Inc. is a telecommunications company that provides wireless communications and broadband services through its subsidiaries under the T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile and Mint Mobile brands; it offers postpaid and prepaid wireless voice and data plans, device financing and upgrades, mobile broadband, fixed wireless home internet, fiber broadband, business connectivity, wholesale and roaming services, and related value-added digital services. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, the company operates nationwide in the United States and serves consumer, business and wholesale customers, while continuing to expand its broadband footprint and network capabilities. In recent periods, T-Mobile completed the acquisition of substantially all of UScellular’s wireless operations in August 2025, adding customers, stores and specified spectrum assets; it also completed the joint acquisition of Lumos in April 2025 and, in 2026, announced strategic fiber joint ventures with Oak Hill Capital and Wren House to acquire and combine GoNetspeed, Greenlight Networks and i3 Broadband. The company has also expanded its service portfolio with new and enhanced consumer plans, including Experience plans and T-Satellite, and has pursued broader integration of wireless and broadband assets alongside ongoing network investment and operational streamlining.
