Tokyu Corporation (TOKUY), founded in 1922 and headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, operates as a regional conglomerate focused on urban and community development along its railway lines in the Greater Tokyo area, including transportation; real estate sales, leasing, and management; life services such as retail through department stores including Tokyu Department Store, supermarkets via Tokyu Store Chain, shopping centers like Tokyu Malls Development and Minami-machida Grandberry Park, credit cards via Tokyu Card, and ICT/media including cable TV, advertising through Tokyu Agency, and entertainment such as SHIBUYA109 and cinema complexes; and hotels/resorts encompassing 61 hotels with approximately 12,000 rooms under Tokyu Hotels & Resorts and six golf courses.
