Business
Noble Iron Inc. is a Canada-based corporate entity listed on the NEX board of the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker NIR.H, historically engaged in enterprise asset management software and industrial equipment rental operations. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, the company previously served equipment rental companies, equipment dealerships, construction contractors, and industrial enterprises across North America. Noble Iron historically delivered cloud and on-premise software solutions through its former wholly owned subsidiary, Texada Software Inc., offering a specialized technology suite that comprised: Systematic Rental Management (SRM), an enterprise resource planning and asset management platform for inventory control, rental contracts, maintenance tracking, dispatch, and financial reporting; FleetLogic, a mobile field service and logistics management platform for digital inspections and electronic work orders; GateWay, an integrated customer portal and e-commerce solution for equipment rental ordering and account management; and Texada Pay, an integrated payment processing system for transaction settlement. The company also historically operated equipment rental depots and dealership branches in California and Texas, providing heavy machinery rentals, repair services, and equipment distribution for brands such as LiuGong. In recent major corporate changes, Noble Iron completed a strategic shift to divest its operating assets, concluding the sale of 100 percent of its Texada Software business to affiliates of private equity firm Banneker Partners for approximately USD 37.2 million. Following the completion of this divestiture and the previous disposition of its equipment rental assets, Noble Iron transferred its listing from the TSX Venture Exchange to the NEX board, ceased active commercial operations, distributed capital back to shareholders through substantial returns of capital including a distribution of approximately CAD 0.30 per share, and initiated a court-approved voluntary liquidation and corporate dissolution process.
