- Sprott Physical Uranium Trust is a Toronto-based non-redeemable investment fund that invests and holds substantially all of its assets in physical uranium, primarily in the form of uranium oxide concentrate (U3O8), and seeks to provide investors with direct exposure to uranium prices through exchange-listed trust units. Founded in 2021 and managed by Sprott Asset Management LP, a subsidiary of Sprott Inc., the Trust is headquartered at Royal Bank Plaza, South Tower, 200 Bay Street, Suite 2600, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Trust’s principal strategy is long-term ownership of physical uranium rather than short-term trading, and it markets units listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbols U.UN and U.U, with U-U.TO used for market data references. In addition to its core physical uranium strategy, the Trust maintains an at-the-market equity program, which was updated on Jan. 26, 2026 to permit the issuance of up to US$1.0 billion of units in Canada, supported by a new January 2026 base shelf prospectus; the Trust also completed a US$200 million upsized bought deal financing in June 2025, a US$100 million bought deal financing in June 2025, and a non-brokered private placement in May 2025, while Bourse de Montréal listed options on the Trust in September 2025. As of June 30, 2026, the Trust held 81,447,348 pounds of physical uranium oxide and reported net assets of $7.0 billion, reflecting continued expansion of its uranium holdings and capital base.
