- USCF Midstream Energy Income Fund (UMI) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks a high level of current income, with capital appreciation as a secondary objective, by investing primarily in equity securities of U.S. and Canadian midstream energy infrastructure companies. The fund, under normal market conditions, allocates at least 80% of its net assets to companies engaged in transportation, storage, gathering, and processing services for oil, natural gas, and related products, including publicly traded master limited partnerships (MLPs) and C-corporations deriving the majority of revenue from these activities; it may invest up to 25% directly in MLP equity securities treated as publicly traded partnerships. Sub-advised by Miller/Howard Investments, Inc., the fund employs a bottom-up fundamental research process evaluating metrics such as income generation, distribution coverage, leverage, commodity price exposure, and contract quality, while integrating ESG factors. The portfolio targets midstream energy sector constituents of any market capitalization, with more than 25% of assets concentrated in energy, oil, and gas industries; top holdings typically include leading operators like Energy Transfer LP, Enbridge Inc., Williams Companies Inc., Enterprise Products Partners LP, and Kinder Morgan Inc.
