Business
Hoang Thach Bagging Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based industrial packaging manufacturer specializing in the design, fabrication, printing, and distribution of paper and polymer packaging solutions for the building materials, chemical, and agricultural sectors. Established in 1999 following the equitization of the bagging workshop of Hoang Thach Cement Company under the Vietnam National Cement Industry Corporation (VICEM), the company is headquartered in Kinh Mon Town, Hai Duong Province, Vietnam. The company operates through two primary segments: Packaging Manufacturing and Commercial Logistics Services. Its product and service offerings comprise two-layer PK (polypropylene and kraft) bags; three-layer KPK (kraft-polypropylene-kraft) composite bags; multi-wall kraft paper bags ranging from two to five plies; circular woven polypropylene (PP) sacks and block-bottom valve bags; flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC and Jumbo bags) engineered for bulk cement, fertilizer, animal feed, and chemical transport; laminated and extruded PP fabrics; precision flexographic and gravure package printing; wholesale trade of packaging raw materials and cement; and integrated warehousing, stevedoring, and freight handling services across Vietnam. In recent operational and structural developments, the company has executed capital investment programs to modernize its extrusion, weaving, and conversion lines, targeting an increase in total manufacturing capacity to 180 million bags per year. In addition to diversifying its customer portfolio beyond its historical anchor client VICEM Hoang Thach Cement into broader agrochemical and industrial bulk markets, the company underwent a major ownership transition in line with the state-owned enterprise restructuring master plan, whereby founding shareholder VICEM structured the divestment of its 27.76 percent equity stake via public auction to finalize the enterprise equitization process.
