Can Tho Import Export Seafood Joint Stock Company, commonly known as CASEAMEX, is a Vietnam-based company engaged in the aquaculture, processing, and export of seafood products, primarily Pangasius and shrimp. Founded in 1988 as the Can Tho Processing and Export Factory and reorganized as a joint-stock enterprise in 2006, the company is headquartered in the Tra Noc II Industrial Zone, Can Tho City, Vietnam. CASEAMEX operates an integrated, vertically structured aquaculture and processing model encompassing commercial fish farming, processing, cold storage, quality testing, and international distribution. The company's primary product offerings include frozen pangasius products, such as well-trimmed, untrimmed, skin-on, skin-off, and shank pangasius fillets, steaks, portions, cubes, and rolls; value-added seafood, including seasoned, marinated, and breaded fish items; frozen crustacean products, such as black tiger shrimp and whiteleg shrimp processed in head-on shell-on, headless shell-on, peeled and deveined, peeled tail-on, and peeled undeveined specifications; complementary seafood selections, including frog legs, octopus, and squid; and aquaculture by-products, such as fish meal and fish oil used in feed manufacturing. In addition to processing and distribution, the company provides cold chain storage, customized packaging, and private label processing services for global food service operators, wholesale distributors, and retail supermarket chains across more than 50 export markets, including the United States, Canada, member nations of the European Union, Brazil, China, and the Middle East. In recent developments, CASEAMEX has executed equity capital expansion and public share offering programs to reinforce working capital and finance facility modernizations; enhanced its processing lines and cold storage capacity to meet stringent ASC, BAP 4-Star, BRC, IFS, and Halal certification benchmarks; expanded commercial market penetration across Latin America and the Middle East to broaden its international client base; and scaled its traceable, bio-secure raw material farming bases to optimize operating margins and supply chain resilience.
