- Cho Lon Investment and Import Export Corporation (Cholimex) is a Vietnam-based diversified holding enterprise engaged in industrial real estate development, food processing and manufacturing, international trade, and logistics services. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the company operates across four principal business segments: Industrial Real Estate and Infrastructure, Food Processing and Distribution, Import-Export Trading, and Logistics and Utility Services. Its real estate division specializes in the development, operation, and management of industrial parks and commercial assets, notably the Vinh Loc Industrial Park; offering industrial land subleases; ready-built and build-to-suit factories; commercial office spaces; standard and bonded warehouse facilities; and associated infrastructure utilities, including wastewater treatment and industrial water supply systems. Through its core subsidiary, Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: CMF), the company manufactures and distributes an extensive portfolio of condiments, seasonings, and prepared foods, including chili sauces, soy sauces, fish sauces, tomato ketchup, hoisin sauce, satay, and specialized cooking sauces; alongside frozen food lines such as spring rolls, dumplings, gyoza, shaomai, breaded seafood, and value-added meat products. Its trading division manages the export of agricultural commodities and processed goods, including cashew nuts, pepper, coffee, rice, cassava products, and seafood; while importing industrial machinery, equipment, raw materials, and consumer goods. Cholimex serves domestic retail, foodservice, and industrial clients throughout Vietnam and exports to more than 30 international markets across North America, Europe, East Asia, and Oceania. In recent strategic developments, Cholimex has expanded the infrastructure of the Vinh Loc Industrial Park to accommodate advanced manufacturing tenants by adding high-rise and multi-tier factory models. Additionally, the company has scaled up manufacturing capabilities at its Vinh Loc 2 food processing facility in Long An to expand its export product lines, broadened its distribution footprint in global supermarket networks, advanced cold chain logistics infrastructure, and progressed post-equitization financial settlement procedures to optimize capital allocation for upcoming commercial real estate and logistics projects.
