Originally founded in 1992 as Minh Hai Water Supply Company and restructured into a joint stock company in 2016, the company is headquartered in Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province, Vietnam. It serves urban and suburban consumers across Ca Mau Province through decentralized operating units and regional branches, including Ca Mau Water Supply Enterprises 1 and 2, the Nam Can Water Supply and Environment Enterprise, the Construction and Electromechanical Enterprise, and branch offices in Tran Van Thoi, Song Doc, Khanh An, and Thoi Binh.

Key capital initiatives include the development of a new surface water treatment plant leveraging the Khanh An freshwater reservoir coupled with dedicated raw water conveyance pipelines, as well as the capacity expansion and pipeline modernization of the Nam Can water supply plant. To improve operational efficiency and lower non-revenue water losses, the company has accelerated its digital transformation through pipeline network optimization, smart electronic billing, integration with digital payment platforms such as VNPay and Payoo, and enhancements to its proprietary CAWACO mobile customer care application. Additionally, the company enacted executive governance adjustments, appointing Pham Phuoc Tai as General Director to lead its operational strategy and utility modernization programs.
