- Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Joint Stock Company No 6 (UPCOM: HD6) is a Vietnam-based real estate development and construction company primarily engaged in civil engineering, urban infrastructure development, property investment, and commercial asset management. Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company operates as an affiliate of Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) and serves individual homebuyers, corporate tenants, institutional investors, and municipal government entities throughout northern Vietnam.
The company organizes its commercial activities into five principal business segments: Real Estate Development, Construction Contracting, Property Leasing and Facility Management, Project Design and Consulting, and Building Materials Trading. In its Real Estate Development segment, Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Joint Stock Company No 6 develops, constructs, and sells high-rise residential condominiums; master-planned urban residential communities; mixed-use commercial and retail complexes; and subsidized social housing units, featuring flagship projects such as the Diamond Flower Tower in Hanoi and the Green Diamond Halong luxury coastal mixed-use development in Quang Ninh Province. In its Construction Contracting segment, the company provides general contracting services; structural engineering for civil and industrial works; municipal infrastructure execution, including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems; interior and exterior architectural fit-outs; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation services. In its Property Leasing and Facility Management segment, the company provides Grade-A and Grade-B commercial office leasing; retail shopping podium leasing; residential rental management; and comprehensive property operations, including security, maintenance, and facility administration. In its Project Design and Consulting segment, it offers architectural design; urban zoning and planning; structural drafting; project management; and independent construction supervision. In its Building Materials Trading segment, the company produces, procures, and supplies concrete products; masonry units; structural steel elements; and specialized finishing materials for construction sites.
In recent operations, Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Joint Stock Company No 6 has implemented strategic expansions and operational adjustments to optimize capital efficiency and asset quality. Over the past two years, the company reached key delivery milestones for its flagship Green Diamond Halong mixed-use project, driving revenue recognition in residential handover and expanding its operational footprint beyond Hanoi into high-growth coastal markets. The company has also restructured its asset portfolio by divesting non-core holdings and reallocating capital toward land bank expansion and high-margin urban redevelopment projects. Furthermore, the company has forged new strategic partnerships with domestic financial institutions and engineering subcontractors to accelerate pipeline development, while upgrading its property management operations with automated building management systems and enhanced environmental sustainability standards across its commercial leasing portfolio.
