Business
HUD3 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (UPCOM: HU3) is a Vietnam-based enterprise engaged in real estate investment, civil and industrial construction, urban infrastructure engineering, and project management services. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company operates as a member subsidiary of the state-owned Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation (HUD). The company organizes its operations across four primary business segments: real estate development and property investment, encompassing high-rise residential complexes such as HUD3 Tower, HUD3 Nguyen Duc Canh, and HUD3 Linh Dam, low-rise townhouses and villas including HUD3 Son Tay, Happy House Garden, and Van Canh residential area, and integrated urban township zones such as Dong Son Urban Area and Paradise Garden Da Lat; civil, industrial, and technical infrastructure construction, delivering general contracting, structural engineering, and installation services for multi-story commercial and residential buildings, industrial plants such as the Song Thao Cement Plant, municipal road networks, water supply and drainage systems, telecommunication infrastructure, and power transmission lines with transformer substations; project management and engineering consultancy, providing technical supervision, architectural and structural design appraisal, and investment advisory for commercial, residential, and public works; and building materials manufacturing and trade, producing and distributing construction materials, precast concrete components, and interior and exterior wooden furnishings. The company primarily caters to municipal authorities, commercial property developers, industrial enterprises, and residential home buyers across Northern and Central Vietnam, with key operational footprints in Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, and Lam Dong provinces. In recent developments, following the mandatory delisting of its shares from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) in May 2023 due to qualified audit opinions on historical financial statements, HUD3 transitioned its share registration and public trading to the Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCoM) under the ticker HU3. In response to regulatory oversight and market conditions, the company has executed operational and capital restructuring programs, rationalized administrative costs, expanded third-party construction partnerships beyond the HUD group ecosystem, and refocused its project pipeline toward high-demand urban housing, social housing developments, and technical infrastructure fulfillment.
