In its seaport division, the corporation manages and operates an extensive national network of deep-water gateway terminals, container terminals, dry bulk docks, and river ports across Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam through major port subsidiaries and joint ventures including Hai Phong Port, Saigon Port, Da Nang Port, Quy Nhon Port, Can Tho Port, and deep-water facilities within the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port complex; offering services including vessel stevedoring and cargo handling; container loading, unloading, and stuffing/stripping; container freight station (CFS) operations; bonded and general warehousing; harbor pilotage; and tugboat assistance and mooring services. Its maritime services and logistics segment delivers comprehensive supply chain solutions, including international freight forwarding; customs clearance and brokerage; inland container depot (ICD) management and multimodal transport; container repair, inspection, and maintenance; ship agency and vessel brokerage; technical ship repair and maintenance; marine fuel bunkering and provisioning; and maritime crew manning and training services. In recent strategic and operational developments, Vietnam Maritime Corporation has partnered with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Terminal Investment Limited (TIL) to advance the development of the Can Gio International Transshipment Port in Ho Chi Minh City, aimed at creating a major international transshipment hub in Southeast Asia. Additionally, the corporation has undertaken a fleet renewal and modernization program focusing on container and specialized feeder vessels while divesting older bulk carriers, implemented smart port management solutions and digital e-port systems across its member terminals to streamline cargo clearance, and expanded integrated multimodal logistics corridors connecting major industrial parks directly with deep-sea export gateways.
