- PetroVietnam-Nghe An Investment & Trading JSC (UPCoM: PXA) is a Vietnam-based company primarily engaged in real estate investment, civil and industrial construction, and commercial trading. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, Vietnam, the company was originally established as an affiliate within the PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) network to execute infrastructure, urban development, and commercial property projects across the north-central region of Vietnam.
The company operates across four principal business segments: Real Estate Development, Construction Contracting, Commercial Trading, and Property Management and Services. Its core products and services include: investment in, development, and sale of residential housing, commercial complexes, urban area infrastructure, and mixed-use buildings; general contracting and execution of civil, industrial, transportation, and petroleum-related infrastructure construction; architectural design, engineering consultancy, technical installation, and project management supervision; wholesale and retail trading of construction materials, including cement, steel, sand, stone, and specialized equipment; and leasing of commercial offices, retail space management, facility maintenance, and hospitality services.
In recent years, PetroVietnam-Nghe An Investment & Trading JSC has implemented major operational and strategic restructuring initiatives aimed at stabilizing business operations, resolving non-performing assets, and improving financial liquidity. The company has pursued asset rationalization by divesting non-core holdings, restructuring debt facilities with commercial lenders, and accelerating the collection of overdue receivables. Operationally, the company has refocused its strategy on recurring revenue streams through commercial asset leasing and property management—particularly centered around the PVIT office tower in Vinh City—alongside selective participation in local civil construction contracts. In addition, the company has reorganized its board of directors and senior executive leadership to strengthen corporate governance and risk management controls as it continues to execute its long-term turnaround strategy on the UPCoM exchange.
