Vinausteel Joint Stock Company, operating as a core subsidiary of Vietnam Steel Corporation - Joint Stock Company (UPCOM: TVN), is a Vietnam-based steel manufacturing and processing enterprise specializing in high-grade construction steel products marketed under the Viet Uc Steel (Thep Viet Uc) brand. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Hai Phong, Vietnam, the company produces and distributes a comprehensive portfolio of long steel products and associated metallurgical services, which includes hot-rolled deformed reinforcing steel bars (rebar) in standard diameters ranging from D10 mm to D32 mm (and up to D41 mm) in accordance with ASTM, JIS, and TCVN standards, designated by CB300-V, CB400-V, CB500-V, and Grade 40/60 specifications; plain round steel wire rods and coils in standard diameters of D6 mm and D8 mm for structural reinforcement, mesh fabrication, and mechanical drawing; custom cut-to-length, rebar bending, straightening, and specialized bundled packaging services; and metallurgical testing, quality assurance, and technical support services certified under ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety systems. The company serves civil engineering, residential, industrial, and national infrastructure projects across Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam, supported by nationwide distributor networks. In recent strategic developments, the enterprise completed its corporate transition in February 2024 from a 30-year foreign investment joint venture between Australia-based Vietnam Industrial Investments Limited and Vietnam Steel Corporation into a direct corporate subsidiary of VNSTEEL, subsequently converting into Vinausteel Joint Stock Company in August 2025. Furthermore, in November 2025, Vinausteel launched construction of a new finished steel manufacturing plant in the Dang Le Industrial Cluster in Hung Yen Province, integrating advanced electric arc furnace smelting, continuous billet casting, and high-speed rolling lines designed to scale annual production capacity beyond 500,000 metric tons of construction steel.
