Business
United Parcel Service, Inc. is a global package delivery and logistics company that provides transportation and delivery services through an integrated air and ground network, as well as distribution, contract logistics, ocean freight, airfreight, customs brokerage and insurance. Founded in 1907 and headquartered at 55 Glenlake Parkway N.E., Atlanta, Georgia, UPS serves more than 200 countries and territories and operates through the U.S. Domestic Package and International Package segments, with supply chain and healthcare logistics capabilities supporting commercial, industrial and e-commerce customers worldwide. Its core offerings include time-definite delivery of letters, documents, packages and palletized freight; day-definite and cross-border shipping services; international air and ocean freight forwarding; mail services; distribution and post-sales support; and healthcare-focused logistics, including cold-chain and biopharma transportation. In 2025, UPS reported revenue of $88.7 billion and delivered an average of 20.8 million packages per day, underscoring the scale of its global network. Recent strategic changes include the acquisitions of Frigo-Trans, Biotech & Pharma Logistics and Andlauer Healthcare Group to expand healthcare logistics and cold-chain capabilities; a new USPS agreement for final-mile delivery on certain Ground Saver and Mail Innovations volumes beginning in 2026; the insourcing of Ground Saver; and a planned reduction in Amazon volume as part of revenue-quality and network-reconfiguration initiatives. UPS also continues to pursue cost-savings and network transformation actions, including its Efficiency Reimagined and Network Reconfiguration programs, while maintaining a global operating footprint focused on North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
