- Americas Gold and Silver Corporation is a North American precious metals mining enterprise focused on the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of mineral properties across the United States and Mexico. The company extracts a range of valuable resources, including silver, copper, and antimony, alongside other base and precious metals like gold, zinc, and lead. Its portfolio of assets includes the wholly owned Cosalá Operations in Sinaloa, Mexico, comprising numerous mining concessions that span a significant land area, which contribute silver, zinc, and lead production. Additionally, the company operates the 100% owned Galena Complex in Idaho, USA, which has been strategically solidified as a key U.S. silver asset and stands as the nation's sole active antimony-producing mine. Americas Gold and Silver also holds the Relief Canyon mine in Nevada, USA, which is currently under care and maintenance. The company has a strategic focus on expanding its high-grade silver output, notably at Galena, with recent initiatives to scale production and unlock critical metal value, including a breakthrough in antimony extraction. In a move to accelerate growth, Americas Gold and Silver announced the proposed acquisition of the neighboring Crescent Silver Mine in November 2025, which is intended to boost silver production in Idaho. This expansion is supported by recent financing, including an upsized US$115 million private placement and a US$100 million term loan, ensuring full funding for its growth objectives. Further enhancing its market position, a new multi-metal offtake agreement for Galena concentrates, including payments for antimony, is set to begin in January 2026. Originally incorporated in 1998, the company is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and adopted its current name in September 2019.
