VanEck Avalanche ETF is a Delaware statutory trust and exchange-traded fund that provides investors with exposure to AVAX, the native digital asset of the Avalanche blockchain network. The Trust seeks to reflect the performance of the price of AVAX and, subject to its staking program, rewards generated from staking a portion of its AVAX holdings, less the Trust’s expenses and liabilities. Its common shares of beneficial interest trade on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC under the ticker symbol VAVX. The Trust holds AVAX in qualified cold-storage custody rather than investing in operating companies, derivatives or diversified cryptocurrency portfolios, and values its holdings using the MarketVector Avalanche Benchmark Rate. Products and services consist of exchange-traded shares offering spot AVAX exposure; institutional-style custody of underlying AVAX; passive exposure to potential proof-of-stake rewards; creation and redemption mechanisms for authorized participants; and periodic cash distributions of available staking-related income, net of applicable expenses. The Trust is designed for investors seeking access to Avalanche’s blockchain ecosystem, including its high-speed and customizable infrastructure for financial, institutional and decentralized-application use cases, without directly purchasing, safeguarding or administering AVAX tokens. VanEck Digital Assets, LLC serves as sponsor; Coinbase Custody Trust Company, LLC serves as custodian; Van Eck Securities Corporation acts as marketing agent; and Delaware Trust Company serves as trustee. The sponsor’s principal office is located at 666 Third Avenue, New York, New York. The Trust commenced operations and began trading in January 2026, following an inception date of December 22, 2025. Recent major developments include VanEck’s January 2026 launch of VAVX as a U.S.-listed AVAX-focused exchange-traded product offering both AVAX price exposure and potential staking rewards; the initial waiver of the sponsor fee for the first $500 million in assets or through February 28, 2026, whichever occurred first; the subsequent application of a 0.20% annual sponsor fee; the implementation of a staking program under which a portion of the Trust’s AVAX holdings is staked; and a July 2026 declaration of a distribution related to the Trust’s staking activity. As of September 9, 2026, the Trust reported approximately $14.41 million in total net assets, with 80.22% of AVAX staked and a gross staking yield of 4.68%.
