Business
Petro-Victory Energy Corp. is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil, natural gas and related hydrocarbons in Brazil. The Company operates primarily through its Brazilian subsidiaries and focuses on onshore assets in the Potiguar Basin in Rio Grande do Norte, the Barreirinhas Basin in Maranhão and the Espírito Santo Basin. Its activities include the acquisition of producing and development-stage oil and gas fields and concession interests; geological and geophysical evaluation; exploration and development drilling; well workovers, completions and production optimization; crude-oil production and sales; natural-gas and natural-gas-liquids development; and the operation and management of oil and gas concessions, wells, production facilities and related infrastructure. Petro-Victory’s portfolio comprises 31 concession contracts totaling 210,583 net acres, together with four concessions totaling 11,413 acres held jointly with BlueOak in Capixaba Energia. The Company markets production to Brazilian energy customers and pursues development of its São João field’s non-associated gas resources, including an initial development arrangement with Eneva. Petro-Victory completed its partnership with BlueOak Investments and the acquisition of Capixaba Energia in April 2025, expanding its onshore Brazilian position; during its first year of Capixaba operations, it reported more than doubling oil production, improved operating margins and positive free-cash-flow generation. The Company is also advancing a fully funded drilling campaign in the Potiguar Basin and has announced an investment plan of approximately R$1 billion through 2030 to increase onshore Brazilian oil production. Petro-Victory Energy Corp. was founded in 2006, is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, maintains headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol VRY.
