- Spartan Metals Corp. is a Canada-based critical-minerals exploration and development company focused on advancing strategic defense-metal projects in the Western United States. The Company explores for and develops tungsten, molybdenum, rubidium, silver, antimony, bismuth, indium, arsenic, copper, beryllium, fluorspar, rhenium and other precious and base metals; its principal assets comprise the Eagle Tungsten-Silver-Rubidium Project in White Pine County, Nevada, including the past-producing Tungstonia and Rees/Antelope mine areas and associated tungsten-bearing tailings, and an option to earn a 100% interest in the Victorio Tungsten-Molybdenum Project in Luna County, New Mexico. Eagle encompasses porphyry, skarn and carbonate-replacement mineralization prospective for tungsten, rubidium, silver, copper, antimony and related metals, while Victorio is an advanced-stage tungsten-molybdenum project also prospective for beryllium, fluorspar, rhenium and rubidium. The Company targets U.S. domestic critical-mineral supply chains and potential defense, industrial, technology and energy-transition markets. Spartan Metals was incorporated in 1991 under the Business Corporations Act of British Columbia and is headquartered in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Formerly known as Midasco Capital Corp., it changed its name to Spartan Metals Corp. in July 2025, acquired 100% of Spartan Exploration Nevada Corporation and its Eagle Property from Ridgeline Minerals Corp., and commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol W in August 2025. Recent developments include the acquisition of the Victorio project in March 2026; completion of a C$5.5 million private placement in April 2026; appointment of SRK Consulting to lead a preliminary economic assessment for Victorio in May 2026; expansion of exploration activities at Eagle, including geophysical work, mineralization delineation and the commencement of a maiden drilling program in August 2026; and membership in the Defense Industrial Base Consortium in September 2026 to support the advancement of its U.S. tungsten and critical-minerals portfolio.
