Business
Waverley Pharma Inc. is a Canadian pharmaceutical company that develops, licenses, acquires, and commercializes generic oncology and other prescription medications, with operations focused on Canada, the United States, and select international markets. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the company markets affordable medicines and healthcare options, with product activities spanning generic oncology drugs, including capecitabine, pemetrexed, bortezomib, and erlotinib, as well as related pharmaceutical distribution and pharmacy operations. Its business also includes the acquisition and integration of pharmacy assets, supported by credit facilities and licensing or market-authorization initiatives in North America and Europe. In recent years, Waverley Pharma has expanded through the acquisition of a US-based pharmacy, including C&R Pharmacy in West Liberty, Ohio, and has continued to pursue regulatory and commercial growth through tender awards, market authorizations, and product approvals in the United Kingdom and multiple European countries. The company also reported a CFO transition effective July 24, 2026, with director James Kinley named interim CFO following Haaris Uddin’s resignation.
