Through its Battery and Energy division, CIAK Grupa supplies a broad spectrum of energy storage systems, including starter batteries for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and motorcycles; industrial, stationary, and traction batteries for material handling equipment, telecommunications, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and solar energy installations; and marine batteries and intelligent battery charging systems under brand names such as CIAK Starter, Varta, Optima, Exide, Banner, and Trojan. Through its Ecology segment, CIAK Grupa delivers comprehensive environmental protection and circular economy services, comprising: the collection, transport, temporary storage, and ecological treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste; secondary lead smelting and complete closed-loop recycling of spent lead-acid batteries; the collection and recovery of waste motor oils, oil filters, packaging waste, and end-of-life tires; and environmental engineering, hazardous material disposal, and ecological compliance consulting for industrial clients and automotive repair networks. The company serves a diverse client base encompassing independent automotive repair workshops, authorized service networks, commercial fleet operators, industrial manufacturing facilities, agricultural businesses, retail automotive stores, and retail consumers across Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. CIAK Grupa is a shareholder and commercial partner of ATR International AG, one of the world's largest automotive aftermarket trading and procurement alliances. In recent strategic developments, CIAK Grupa has accelerated its regional market consolidation through strategic acquisitions across South East Europe, including the takeover of prominent automotive parts distributors such as Sim Impex d.o.o. and Auto Milovanović d.o.o. in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ludet d.o.o. in Slovenia, and targeted aftermarket operations in Serbia and Montenegro.
