Agram Banka d.d. is a Croatia-based commercial banking institution providing a comprehensive suite of retail, corporate, and investment banking services to individual consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large corporations, and institutional clients. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, the bank operates as the key banking subsidiary of Koncern Agram (Agram Group), one of the leading financial and insurance conglomerates in Southeastern Europe. The institution conducts its business across the Republic of Croatia through a nationwide network of regional branch offices, commercial business centers, and automated teller machines (ATMs), supplemented by electronic and mobile delivery channels. The bank structures its operations into three primary business divisions: Retail Banking, Corporate and Commercial Banking, and Treasury and Financial Markets. Through its Retail Banking division, Agram Banka provides transaction accounts, current accounts, and multi-currency foreign exchange accounts; fixed-term savings, rent-yield savings, and targeted deposit programs; unsecured personal cash loans, consumer credit, and overdraft facilities; residential mortgage, home construction, and home improvement loans; motor vehicle financing; debit and credit card products under international payment schemes such as Mastercard and Visa; digital self-service solutions comprising the m-Agram mobile banking application and Agram e-bank internet banking platform; safe deposit box rentals; and integrated bancassurance policies distributed in collaboration with affiliated Agram Group insurers. Through its Corporate and Commercial Banking division, the company offers commercial transaction accounts; domestic and cross-border payment processing via SEPA and SWIFT networks; working capital and liquidity credit facilities; long-term investment, development, and commercial real estate loans; revolving credit facilities; bill discounting, trade finance, and factoring services; tender, performance, and financial bank guarantees; documentary letters of credit; and specialized financing programs for agricultural producers and municipalities. Through its Treasury and Financial Markets division, the bank manages proprietary liquidity, interbank money market transactions, foreign exchange spot and derivative trading, sovereign and corporate debt securities trading, as well as custody and depositary bank services for private and institutional investment portfolios. In recent developments, Agram Banka completed the comprehensive transition of its IT infrastructure, payment processing systems, and ATM network to the euro currency (EUR) following Croatia's entry into the Eurozone and integration into the Eurosystem. The bank has advanced its digital transformation program, introducing upgraded mobile banking capabilities, expanded contactless payment functionalities, and modernized digital client onboarding tools. To broaden SME financing access, Agram Banka expanded its cooperation frameworks with the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO), deploying subsidized credit lines and sustainable finance packages aimed at energy efficiency and green transition projects. Furthermore, the bank has deepened cross-segment operational synergies across the Agram Group network to enhance its unified financial and bancassurance service distribution.
