Founded in 2016 and headquartered at 33/F, Times Tower, 391-407 Jaffe Road, Hong Kong, the company operates 13 restaurants in Hong Kong, comprising nine under self-owned brands including Akanoshou (Japanese), An Nam (Vietnamese), Modern Shanghai, Modern Shanghai Imperial, and 10 Shanghai (Shanghainese), and four under franchised or sub-licensed brands such as Mango Tree (Thai), Gonpachi (Japanese), and Paper Moon (Italian); it offers quality Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Shanghainese, and Italian cuisines in venues designed by award-winning interior and lighting designers, emphasizing value for money, individuality, cultural influence, creativity, and flavor, while deriving approximately 99.3% of revenue from Hong Kong restaurant operations and the remainder from management services. A subsidiary of Real Hero Ventures Limited, the company employs 539 staff and focuses on the consumer discretionary sector, targeting diverse customers through multidimensional dining concepts and B2B services like pre-opening consultancy, franchise opportunities, and a new B2B2C platform "Saveur" (尚薈). In 2024, it opened two new Modern Shanghai Imperial restaurants at The LOHAS in Tseung Kwan O in June and V Walk in Sham Shui Po in December, closed Hokkaidon at Cityplaza in Taikoo Shing and An Nam at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong upon lease expiry, renewed leases for Modern Shanghai at Olympian City (to July 2027) and Mango Tree at Elements (to August 2027), shifted strategy to reduce wholly owned outlets in favor of franchise and management services (e.g., two at M8 in Macau, one at Festival Walk), launched development of retail food products under "Homee Gourmet" (家嘗菜) and existing brands for online markets, and recorded revenue of HK$470.4 million with a HK$2.4 million profit after tax.
