- Abasca Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of critical-mineral and uranium exploration properties. The Company’s principal asset is its wholly owned Key Lake South Project, a approximately 23,974-hectare property in the southeastern Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan, Canada, located approximately 15 kilometres south of the former Key Lake uranium mine and current Key Lake mill. Key Lake South comprises prospective uranium-bearing geological targets and graphite mineralization, including the Loki Flake Graphite Deposit and the adjacent Thor Graphite Zone. The Company’s activities include geological mapping; geophysical surveying; diamond drilling; mineral-resource delineation; metallurgical, engineering and environmental studies; technical-report preparation; permitting-related baseline work; and project development planning. Abasca’s primary target market includes prospective buyers and processors of natural flake graphite for battery materials, electric vehicles, energy storage, industrial applications and other critical-mineral supply chains, as well as potential strategic, government and financial partners supporting Canadian mineral development. The Loki Flake Graphite Deposit is Abasca’s principal development-stage graphite asset and is held on a 100%-owned basis. An updated NI 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate effective April 23, 2026 reported indicated resources of 6.99 million tonnes grading 8.27% graphitic carbon and inferred resources of 15.83 million tonnes grading 6.93% graphitic carbon. The Company is advancing Loki through resource expansion, drilling, environmental baseline studies, economic evaluation and feasibility-related work. The Thor Graphite Zone, discovered along a parallel mineralized trend at Key Lake South, represents an additional exploration target and is being assessed through follow-up drilling. Abasca also evaluates uranium exploration potential across the broader Key Lake South property, which contains more than 50 kilometres of prospective conductors and is situated in the Athabasca Basin, a major uranium-producing region. Recent developments include the completion of a Winter 2026 exploration program at Loki and Thor; the release of an updated mineral resource estimate for Loki in July 2026; the publication of a positive independent preliminary economic assessment for Loki in August 2026, which outlines a potential long-life graphite development project and provides a basis for advancing the asset toward feasibility studies; and the filing of an NI 43-101 technical report supporting the updated Loki resource estimate in August 2026. In July 2026, Abasca closed a non-brokered private placement raising gross proceeds of C$3.0 million, with proceeds intended primarily to support continued exploration at Loki and the Thor Zone and for general corporate purposes. The Company also received an additional C$150,000 of Saskatchewan Targeted Mineral Exploration Incentive funding, increasing aggregate disclosed support under that program for Loki-related activities to C$350,000. In September 2026, the Loki Flake Graphite Deposit was selected for inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus as a strategic critical-minerals opportunity.
