Business
Arcosa, Inc. (NYSE: ACA) provides infrastructure-related products and solutions through leading brands serving the construction, engineered structures, and transportation markets. The company operates in three primary segments: Construction Products, offering aggregates, specialty materials including lightweight aggregates, and construction site support; Engineered Structures, encompassing utility structures, pole products, telecom structures, traffic structures, and wind towers; and Transportation Products, including barges and marine hardware as well as industrial components. Arcosa manufactures and sells these products primarily to infrastructure, energy, residential, non-residential, agricultural, and transportation end markets across North America. Founded in 2018 through a spin-off from Trinity Industries, Inc., Arcosa maintains its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and employs approximately 6,250 people. The company's businesses leverage strong geographic footprints in the United States to support infrastructure growth, population expansion, and the replacement of aging transportation and energy infrastructure. In recent developments, Arcosa completed the $1.2 billion acquisition of the construction materials business of Stavola Holding Corporation on October 1, 2024, significantly expanding its aggregates-led platform into high-growth markets and increasing Construction Products to nearly two-thirds of adjusted EBITDA. This transaction, funded partly through a $600 million senior note issuance, aligned with the company's strategy to grow in attractive markets, reduce cyclicality, and enhance returns on invested capital while divesting non-core assets like its steel components business. For 2025, Arcosa projects consolidated revenues of $2.8-3.0 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $545-595 million, driven by approximately 40% organic growth and contributions from the Stavola integration.
