(Nasdaq: ADGM) develops and commercializes innovative ablation technologies for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and ventricular tachycardia. The company offers a portfolio of ultra-low temperature cryoablation (ULTC) and pulsed field cryoablation (PFCA) systems; iCLAS atrial ULTC catheter and accessories for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, persistent atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter, with CE mark in the European Union; vCLAS ventricular ULTC catheter designed for ventricular arrhythmias; Cryopulse atrial PFCA catheter and accessories; and a shared ULTC cryoablation console across its catheter families. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Laguna Hills, California, Adagio Medical Holdings operates primarily in the United States and European Union markets, targeting electrophysiologists and healthcare providers treating patients with drug-resistant arrhythmias. In July 2024, the company completed a business combination with ARYA Sciences Acquisition Corp IV, listing on Nasdaq under the ADGM ticker and raising approximately $84.2 million in financing from investors including affiliates of Perceptive Advisors, RA Capital Management, RTW Investments, and ATW Partners. In October 2025, Adagio Medical Holdings closed a private placement providing up to $50 million in gross proceeds, including $19 million upfront led by Perceptive Advisors and other healthcare-focused investors, to fund FDA submission for the vCLAS ULTC System via the FULCRUM-VT pivotal study, next-generation catheter development, manufacturing expansion, and commercial readiness. The company completed enrollment in the 209-patient FULCRUM-VT US IDE trial in third quarter 2025, reporting 97% acute effectiveness and a favorable safety profile, alongside securing FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, CMS Category B coverage, and leadership additions including Deborah Kaster as Chief Financial Officer.
