- ADNOC Logistics & Services plc is an energy maritime logistics company that provides end-to-end supply chain, shipping, and offshore marine solutions to the global energy sector. Formed in 2016 through the consolidation of Abu Dhabi National Tanker Company, Petroleum Services Company, and Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company, tracing its maritime heritage back to 1975, the company operates as a publicly listed subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company conducts its operations across three primary business segments: Integrated Logistics, Shipping, and Marine Services.
The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of maritime and energy logistics solutions, comprising: offshore support vessel operations, including platform supply vessels, anchor handling tug supply vessels, accommodation barges, and crew boats; integrated offshore logistics base management, material handling, warehousing, and project cargo logistics; maritime transportation of energy commodities, including crude oil transportation via very large crude carriers; refined petroleum products and specialty chemicals transport via medium-range and long-range product tankers; liquefied natural gas transport via specialized cryogenic membrane carriers; liquefied petroleum gas and ammonia shipping via very large gas carriers; dry bulk cargo transportation for sulfur and aggregate commodities; petroleum port management and marine terminal operations; pilotage, vessel escort, and harbor towing services; mooring, berthing, and offshore line handling; commercial diving, subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair services; and tier-one and tier-two marine emergency oil spill response and pollution control operations.
ADNOC Logistics & Services plc serves upstream and downstream energy companies, international commodity traders, and industrial clients across the United Arab Emirates, the wider Middle East, Asia, Europe, and major global maritime trade routes. In recent strategic developments, following its initial public offering on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, the company accelerated its global footprint through the acquisition of Navig8 TopCo Holdings Inc., integrating an international commercial pooling platform, bunkering services, and a substantial fleet of chemical and product tankers across fifteen international offices. Additionally, the company expanded its fleet and operational scale by committing multi-billion-dollar capital investments for newly constructed, energy-efficient liquefied natural gas carriers, very large ammonia and ethane gas carriers through its AW Shipping joint venture with Wanhua Chemical Group, and dual-fuel very large crude carriers, alongside securing major long-term integrated logistics contracts supporting offshore artificial island developments and mega gas concession projects in the Arabian Gulf.
