- Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) operates and develops six international airports in Thailand, including Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, Hat Yai International Airport, Phuket International Airport, and Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai International Airport; provides hotel and restaurant services; offers ground aviation services such as equipment handling, warehouse management, and cleaning; delivers security services; and manages projects on perishable goods at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Headquartered in Bangkok and established in 2002 through the privatization of the state-owned Airports Authority of Thailand—with the Ministry of Finance holding a 70% stake—AOT focuses on enhancing airport capacity, connectivity, service quality, operational efficiency, and sustainability across its network serving domestic and international passengers, airlines, and commercial partners primarily in Thailand. In recent developments, AOT approved amendments to its duty-free concession contracts with King Power Duty Free Co., Ltd. in December 2025, maintaining minimum revenue guarantees while increasing revenue sharing percentages and extending operations at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Hat Yai airports; completed the grand opening of the SAT-1 terminal and third runway at Suvarnabhumi Airport; received government directives in November 2025 to study the takeover of 28 regional airports managed by the Department of Airports for improved national network efficiency; and acquired land in November 2024 for the Suvarnabhumi East Expansion project.
