Alfa Laval AB is a global provider of specialized products and engineering solutions focused on heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling technologies. The company manufactures and sells a wide range of equipment including heat exchangers that optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact; separation technologies such as separators, decanter centrifuges, filters, strainers, and membranes for separating liquids and solids; and fluid handling products including pumps, valves, tank cleaning equipment, and installation materials tailored for the food, pharmaceutical, marine, and offshore industries. Alfa Laval serves diverse industries including energy, food and water, marine, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment, and power generation. The company operates globally with a presence in over 100 countries and is headquartered in Lund, Sweden. Founded in 1883 by Gustav de Laval, the inventor of the centrifugal separator, Alfa Laval maintains a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. In recent strategic developments, Alfa Laval has accelerated its investments toward achieving its scope 1 and 2 net zero emission targets by 2027, advancing this goal by three years ahead of schedule. The company has also embarked on expansion plans that include a long-term capital expenditure program aimed at growth towards 2030, supported by increased capacity and new distribution centers in Lund, Sweden, and Indianapolis, USA. Alfa Laval has strengthened its global channel partner network to enhance customer service, and it continues to launch more than 35 new products annually to maintain market leadership.
