Ambipar Emergency Response (AMBIQ) provides environmental, emergency response, and industrial field services primarily in Brazil and internationally across 41 countries in Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa, Antarctica, Asia, and Oceania. The company offers emergency response to accidents involving hazardous and non-hazardous chemical and non-chemical products, waste, and natural disasters; industrial field services including tank cleaning, silo cleaning, asbestos removal, vessel and container cleaning, waste transportation and disposal, soil remediation, turnaround, and decommissioning; biological emergency management for epidemics and pandemics; disinfection services; consulting for accident prevention and environmental licensing; and training for preventing, fighting, and remediating emergencies. It operates through an Emergency Control and Management Center (CECOE) and over 400 emergency service bases worldwide, serving more than 11,000 customers including blue-chip corporations, industries, mining companies, and pipelines. A subsidiary of Ambipar Participações e Empreendimentos S.A. within the Ambipar Group founded in 1995, the company is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. In recent developments, Ambipar Emergency Response filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on October 20, 2025; previously pursued growth through acquisitions such as CTA Serviços em Meio Ambiente in July 2022—its 34th since its 2020 IPO—enhancing capabilities in fauna and flora response across Brazil, Latin America, North America, and Europe; and expanded via multiple North American and Brazilian deals contributing to revenue growth in 2023.
