- Andromeda Metals Limited is an Australian mineral exploration and industrial minerals company focused on the sustainable supply of high-quality halloysite-kaolin and high purity alumina products. Its core offerings include the mining and processing of kaolin, halloysite, high purity alumina (HPA), and industrial sands. The company operates primarily in South Australia, with its flagship Great White Project comprising multiple mining and exploration tenements. Andromeda’s kaolin deposits contain natural blends of kaolinite and halloysite nanotubes, which are transformed into value-added products for ceramics and advanced technologies. The company also explores for and produces high purity alumina, a critical mineral with applications in high-tech industries, using a patented low-carbon production process. Recent major developments include advancing the commercialization of its HPA project, with pilot-scale testwork initiated to produce commercial samples of 4N HPA, aimed at demonstrating continuous production capabilities and engaging potential customers. The company has secured multiple binding offtake agreements to supply halloysite-kaolin materials, enhancing its market position and growth prospects. Additionally, Andromeda reported a significant increase in its Poochera kaolin resource, highlighting an 80% rise in the measured resource category and a 28% upgrade to 26 million tonnes of bright white kaolinised granite. These changes reflect a strategic expansion into critical minerals alongside its traditional industrial minerals focus. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, Andromeda Metals operates as a publicly listed company on the ASX under the ticker ADN and on OTC markets as ANDMF. The company emphasizes local leadership combined with global market engagement to supply premium industrial minerals essential for sustainable and advanced applications. Its ongoing developments and strategic partnerships position it as a key player in the Australian minerals sector with an increasing emphasis on critical mineral production and sustainable mining practices. This comprehensive profile captures Andromeda Metals' main products, services, geographic operations, and recent strategic advancements through resource growth, product commercialization, and binding offtake agreements in the high purity alumina and halloysite-kaolin markets.
