Ardelyx maintains a pipeline including RDX013, a small molecule potassium secretagogue for hyperkalemia; RDX020, a small molecule for metabolic acidosis; and RDX10531, a next-generation NHE3 inhibitor in preclinical development with potential applications across multiple therapeutic areas. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, with additional facilities in Newark, California, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ardelyx operates primarily in the U.S. market while pursuing international commercialization through strategic partnerships, including agreements with Kyowa Kirin, Fosun Pharma and Knight Therapeutics for tenapanor outside the United States. In recent developments, Ardelyx reported third-quarter 2025 net product sales of $78.2 million for IBSRELA, up 92% year-over-year, and raised full-year 2025 guidance to $270-$275 million; secured a commercial supply agreement with Catalent Pharma Solutions for IBSRELA extending through 2028; appointed Eric Foster as Chief Commercial Officer to oversee strategies for its products; presented real-world evidence on XPHOZAH demonstrating patient satisfaction and phosphate reduction at ASN Kidney Week in November 2025; and initiated preclinical development of RDX10531 to support an investigational new drug submission in 2026.
