Business
Krakatoa Resources Limited (ASX:KTA) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing critical and precious metal projects. The company advances its flagship Zopkhito high-grade antimony-gold project in Georgia, which features a foreign mineral resource of over 26,000 tonnes of antimony and more than 800,000 ounces of gold; it also holds interests in the Mt Clere rare earth elements and niobium project, Turon Gold project, Rand Gold project, King Tamba specialty metals project and other assets targeting gold, copper, lithium, base metals and platinum group elements in Western Australia and New South Wales. Incorporated in 2012 and headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with an additional office in Tbilisi, Georgia, Krakatoa operates primarily in the resources sector serving global critical minerals markets. In recent developments, the company signed a binding tenement option and sale agreement in 2025 with Agriculture Equity Investments to divest its Belgravia Porphyry copper-gold project for $350,000 to streamline its portfolio and fund expanded exploration at Zopkhito, including ongoing diamond drilling programs and 3D modeling integration.
