Siren Gold Limited (ASX:SNG) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on gold and antimony properties primarily in New Zealand. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in West Perth, Western Australia, the company holds interests in several key projects including the Sams Creek gold project with a mineral resource estimate of 824koz at 2.80g/t Au; the Langdons antimony and gold project on the Paparoa goldfield; and the Queen Charlotte antimony and gold project encompassing the historic Endeavour antimony mine. Through a approximately 26.1% shareholding in TSX-listed Rua Gold Inc., Siren Gold maintains indirect exposure to the Reefton gold project, featuring a JORC-compliant inferred resource of 483koz Au at 3.86g/t and 14.5kt Sb at 1.7%, as well as the Hauraki Goldfield with its historic high-grade gold and silver deposits.
In late 2024, Siren Gold completed a major strategic transaction by selling its wholly-owned subsidiary Reefton Resources Pty Ltd, which held the Reefton Project tenements, to a subsidiary of Rua Gold Inc. for A$20 million in consideration, consolidating the Reefton Goldfield under Rua while retaining significant equity exposure through the shareholding. This divestiture represents a key operational shift, allowing Siren Gold to streamline its portfolio toward direct ownership in Sams Creek, Langdons, and Queen Charlotte while benefiting from Rua's advancement of Reefton and Hauraki assets. The company continues exploration activities across these New Zealand-focused properties, targeting high-grade orogenic and epithermal gold systems in the South and North Islands.
